Installing, Administering and Configuring Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Introduction

This two-day, instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills that are needed to manage Microsoft Windows® XP Professional computers in a Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 environment. Additional information for Windows 2000 is also included explaining how it differs from Windows XP Professional.

Pre-Requisites

Before attending this course, students must have:

• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge
• CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent knowledge,

and either:

• Completed Course 2208 - Upgrading Your Skills from Microsoft Windows NT to Microsoft Windows Server 2003,

or completed both of the following exams:

• Course 2274 - Managing a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment
• Course 2275 - Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment

Outcomes

• This course will help the student prepare for the following Microsoft Certified Professional exams:
• Exam 70-210 - Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
• Exam 70-270,Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional
