WHAT IS CHANGE MANAGEMENT?

Recent surveys from organisations such as McKinsey and PricewaterhouseCoopers have shown that initiatives that use Change Management effectively have a four times higher return on investment than projects that don't use Change Management.
Our Change Management courses are administered worldwide by the APM Group based in the UK with offices in Canberra. The APM Group is the UK based organisation that administers the standards and qualifications for PRINCE2® (a standard for project delivery) and ITIL® (a standard for service delivery). These are two internationally recognised standards.
All our public courses are held in the Melbourne CBD with an experienced facilitator providing group and/or individual instruction. The trainer will explain Change Management using a combination of:
The courses use an interactive discussion based approach around a core syllabus. Emphasis is placed on practical and real world application as well as gaining the qualification. Participants are encouraged to discuss Change Initiatives that they have seen and the trainer will help relate their experiences to the course content.
Advanced Training maintains a regular schedule of Foundation and Practitioner courses across the year. We are also able to arrange in house private courses for organisations who are looking for flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to explore options outside the normal Foundation/Practitioner course structure. Our trainers are very experienced as both trainers and project managers. You are almost certain to pass the exam on the first attempt. In the unlikely event that you are unsuccessful on the first attempt we will cover the exam fees for a second try as well as provide some additional coaching.

This course has been designed for Change Managers, Program Managers, Project Managers and anyone who
This should take approximately 2 hours and includes an extensive overview of Change Management and sample Foundation exam questions. This is emailed to participants as soon as they book a place on the course.
All Change Management exams are provided by the APM Group; the Foundation exam is a one hour, closed book multiple choice exam. The pass mark is 50%.
This course will consolidate your Change Management Foundation knowledge and introduce you to additional material which covers extra chapters from “Making Sense of Change Management “ as well as the APM Group Change Management Handbook You will gain a deeper knowledge of the principles of change management and an understanding of how to implement and manage change in organisations and will be prepared for the Change Management Practitioner exam. There is also an opportunity to discuss real life issues in the post exam Change Management clinic.
This course is intended for those who have completed the Foundation course and would like to take their learning to the next level.
We recommend that course participants set aside approximately 15 hours for course preparation, including revising the Foundation material. You will be given a 40 page Practitioner Handbook, a scenario, sample exam questions and pre-course study guidance.
The Foundation qualification (formally known as the Principles of Change Management qualification) is an APM Group requirement for the more advanced Practitioner course.
The Practitioner exam is a sophisticated multiple choice exam over 3 hours. The only source material allowed is the Practitioner Handbook and “Making Sense of Change Management” 2nd Edition. The pass mark is 50%.
