Cisco® Unified Wireless Networking
Introduction
The course is a five-day, instructor-led, technical course providing in-depth coverage of how to install and configure the functional components of the Cisco Unified Wireless Network Solutions product in several deployment models in an enterprise customer network. Learners become familiar with the inter-communication of key system components, interactions between components, software configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and debugging. Knowledge is reinforced by hands-on lab exercises.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
After completing this course, students will be able to:
- Explain how the Cisco Unified Wireless Network components meet the challenges to successful deployment
- Select and properly install the Cisco Unified Wireless Network hardware appropriate to site and use requirements
- Configure Cisco Unified Wireless Network administrative settings to support specific site and use requirements
- Configure security on devices and endpoints in a WLAN deployment to support site and customer requirements
- Maintain and troubleshoot WLAN hardware, software, and operational functionality using bundled and add-on tools
- Design and implement the appropriate WLAN solution for varying situations
- Install and configure Cisco WCS in the Cisco Unified Wireless environment
- Deploy and maintain the MSE

Prerequisites
To realize the full benefit from this course, students should have the following pre-requisite knowledge and skills:
- CCNA or equivalent work experience
- Familiarity with Windows and Windows Networking
