Course Description

This course is designed to provide the participant with the skills necessary to use Illustrator for desktop publishing to an advanced level. If you have never used Illustrator, this course is for you. If you have used Illustrator, but perhaps not as effectively as you could, this course is for you. This course is designed to provide the participant with advanced skills in using Illustrator

On completion of the course, you should be able to:

• Identify parts of a window and navigate in Illustrator.
• Use Graphics, Drawing and Editing Tools.
• Use and create Colours
• Create and work with Layers
• Work with Type and create Outlines
• Perform Advanced Drawing using Drawing
• Tools and Expanded Paths.
• Perform Advanced Editing, Splitting and Duplicating Paths, Aligning
• Use Pathfinder Commands
• Use Transformation Tools, Distorting with Filters, Gradients and Blends
• Use Compound Paths and Masking
