This is an introductory-to-intermediate training course in the OpenOffice.org desktop productivity suite, covering all the major modules: Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw and Base. This course aims to impart a sound knowledge of the OpenOffice desktop productivity suite applications. Areas covered include word-processing, creating spreadsheets, creating slideshow presentations, interoperating with Microsoft Office, maintaining databases etc.
This course is designed for those with experience in computer office suites who have had little or no experience with OpenOffice.org, or those wanting to migrate from Microsoft Office to OpenOffice.org.
A sound knowledge of using an Office Suite is recommended, but not required.
