Course Description

This 2 day course for Adobe Pagemaker 6.5 & 7.0 is designed to provide the participants with the necessary skills to create a publication by integrating text and graphics from different sources. This course is designed for graphic artists, designers, editors, typesetters and production artists.

On completion of the course, you should be able to:

• Import text and graphics into an Adobe PageMaker publication
• Create text and graphic elements (circle, square, lines)
• Use master pages and styles for assembling and formatting publications
• Incorporate colour photographs and processs colours to produce full colour documents
• Create and use libraries to manage collections of frequently used text and graphic elements
• Thread and rethread text blocks
• Use Multiple Paste command
• Manipulate and refine photographs, illustrations and other graphics using the PageMaker tools including the Image Control command
• Use Multiple Master Pages for multi page Publications
