Building MDI Applications with Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 (4245)


This 2-hour workshop describes how to create multiple-document interface (MDI) applications that enable you to host multiple documents in one parent window. You will design and implement forms and work with information on them.

In this workshop you will learn the following:

  • Windows Form Layout Options
  • What are MDI Applications
  • Creating MDI Parentand Child Forms.
  • Displaying and Comparing Information on MDI Child Forms.
  • Implementing Menu Merging in MDI Applications

As a workshop, most of your learning will occur in the extensive lab.
