This 2-hour workshop introduces remoting, which is an important technology that is used to develop distributed applications with the Microsoft® .NET Framework.

In the workshop you will learn the following:

  • Creating a simple remoting client and server.
  • Registering remoting classes and configuring channels programmatically.
  • Registering remoting classes and configuring channels with configuration files.
  • Deploying and debugging remotable classes.



As a workshop, most of your learning will take place during the extensive lab.
