Customizing the 2007 Microsoft® Office System Client Installation (5233)


In this 2-hour course you learn how to customize a 2007 Microsoft Office System installation. You learn about the different options and tools for customization, how to create a customized network installation point, and how to configure Office through group policy. In the lab, you will create a customized Office installation.

This course helps you prepare for exam 70-624.

Student prerequisites:

  • Experience deploying, managing, and supporting either Windows® client systems or Office System technologies.
  • Familiarity with standard client and application deployment methods, such as RIS, imaging, and SMS.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory® directory service.
  • Familiarity with the 2007 Office System and Windows Vista™.
