This 2-hour workshop introduces COM+, the next evolution of ComponentObject Model (COM) and Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS). It explainshow some of the COM+ services can be integrated within the .NETFramework to enhance performance or functionality.

In this workshop you will learn the following:

  • What is COM+ and COM+ Services support in .NET.
  • Implementing a Serviced Component.
  • Registering a Serviced Component.
  • Instantiating a Serviced Component.

As a workshop, most of your learning will take place during theextensive lab.
