Description:
This two-hour course introduces the AD LDS server role and describeshow you can configure AD LDS on your network.
This course covers the following topics:
- Introducing AD LDS
- Configuring AD LDS
- Managing AD LDS
This course requires that students meet the following prerequisites:
- Networking courses 6420 and 6421 or TS exam 70-642 or equivalentknowledge.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Intermediate understanding of server and client operating systems.
- An awareness of security best practices.
- Basic knowledge of server hardware, including A+ certification orequivalent knowledge.
- Some experience in creating objects in Active Directory.
- Foundation course 6424 or 6425 or equivalent knowledge.
- Basic concepts of backup and recovery in a Windows Serverenvironment.
This course has the same content as the previous version in an updatedviewer with a new look and feel.
Objectives:
- Describe important aspects of AD LDS.
- Configure access control and replication in AD LDS.
- Describe methods for managing AD LDS.
