Welcome to Part 2 of the CompTIA Network+® (2009 Objectives) series of courses. In this second section of the course, you will focus on networking implementations using TCP/IP and local area connections. In order to fully understand the networking world and technologies used, and be able to successfully manage networks, you understand all types of networks. You will build on the basic knowledge learned in Part 1 of the series to focus on the different network implementations used today.

  • In this course,you will identify and describe how data is addressed and delivered across the different types of network media and hardware in use in modern PC-based computer networks, as well as identify the major types of network implementation. You will learn information and skills that will be helpful as you prepare for the CompTIA Network+ certification examination (exam number N10-004).
