Welcome to Part 3 of the CompTIA Network+® (2009 Objectives) series. In this third course, you will continue to focus on network types and infrastructure, and start to look into remote connectivity, network security, and disaster recovery. There are many aspects of networking that you may be responsible for in the future. With the security risks and threats of today, it is more important than ever before to understand network security, as to manage remote users effectively, and to plan for possible disasters that may affect networking systems.

  • In this course,you will identify and describe all the major networking technologies, systems, skills, and tools in use in modern PC-based computer networks, and learn information and skills that will be helpful as you prepare for the CompTIA Network+ certification examination, 2009 objectives (exam number N10-004).
