The CompTIA® Linux+™ Powered by LPI certification course, developed to cover CompTIA Powered by LPI exams LX0+™101 and LX0+™102, builds on your existing user-level knowledge and experience with the Linux operating system to present fundamental skills and concepts that you will use on the job in any type of Linux career. This part of the course will help you get started with Linux by introducing you to the history and basics of Linux and enabling you to manage user and group accounts.This course is intended for entry-level computer support professionals with basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems, who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of Linux concepts and skills to prepare for a career in Linux support or administration. This course is also helpful for those preparing for CompTIA® Linux+™ Powered by LPI exams (Exam Codes: LX0+™101 and LX0+™102). A typical student in the CompTIA® Linux+™ Certification course should have at least 6 to 12 months of Linux experience.

 

Objectives:

  • In this course, you will familiarize yourself with the history and development of Linux and acquire the skills required to manage user and group accounts in a Linux operating system. The information and skills covered in this course will be helpful as you prepare for the CompTIA® Linux+™ Powered by LPI exams (Exam Codes: LX0+™101 and LX0+™102).
