Creating Web Services Using LotusScript®


IBM® Lotus® Domino Designer® 7 now includes a specific design element for creating Web services using LotusScript®. Such Web services allow other applications access to the data and functionality provided by Domino servers, and do so in a standardized way. Adding Web services to an application can increase the internal flexibility of the application's architecture and expand the reach of its functionality and value to other applications, including those created by external partners. This course covers the underlying technologies involved in Web services, the creation of simple and complex Web services, the various properties that can be set, and how to consume a Web service created by IBM Lotus Domino Designer 7.The target audience for this course is application developers who have extensive experience coding in LotusScript.
