Description:

Computer networks form the basis of information sharing around the globe. There are many different tasks, concepts, and skills involved in the pursuit of network security. One of the most important security tools that any organization wants to implement is the firewall, which prevents any unauthorized entry into the organization's network. Not too long ago, the term “firewall” was only associated with buildings and architecture•literally, a wall to block fire from reaching a different section of the structure. But, with the explosion of the Internet and corporations increasing getting online, firewalls have become a part of the everyday language of network security professionals. This course is intended for an aspiring IT manager who has an understanding of networking, and is interested in securing the organization network with the help of firewalls and also has an understanding the impact of threats on accessing information inside and outside of the firewall.
