Description:

This two-hour course describes how you can use Active Directory serverroles and ILM 2007 to create and manage IDA management solutions.

This course covers the following topics:

  • Using Active Directory roles to create IDA solutions.
  • Using ILM 2007.


This course requires that students meet the following prerequisites:

  • Networking courses 6420 and 6421 or TS exam 70-642 or equivalentknowledge.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts.
  • Intermediate understanding of server and client operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of server hardware, including A+ certification orequivalent knowledge.
  • Some experience in creating objects in Active Directory.
  • Foundation course 6424 or 6425 or equivalent knowledge.
  • Basic concepts of backup and recovery in a Windows Serverenvironment.


This course has the same content as the previous version in an updatedviewer with a new look and feel.

 

Objectives:

  • Explain the key aspects of IDA management solutions.
  • Describe the AD server roles used for IDA management.
  • Describe the role of ILM in IDA management.
