The target student for this course is any person who has basic end-user skills on Windows-based computers and who wishes to use network and Internet services such as file sharing, printing, email and other communications, searching for information, and also to begin training for a career in the information technology field, or prepare for Module 3 (Living Online) of the Certiport Internet and Core Computing (IC3) certification. Computers are everywhere. We use them in almost every aspect of our lives whether we realize it or not. But it\'s not just the computers themselves that make all the technology so useful and interesting; it\'s the way they interconnect and work together that creates a truly amazing tool. That\'s what a network does; it connects computers together. In this course, you will be introduced to the Internet and networks.
