Java 5: Enterprise Connectivity


Establishing connectivity in enterprise applications using the Java Enterprise Edition technology allows you to inherit various resources and develop dynamic output. In this course, you will explore JDBC and use it to connect to a database, retrieve meta data, and execute a SQL query. You will also implement servlets, Java Server Pages, and Enterprise JavaBeans, which are trendsetting technologies at present.

  • In this course, you will understand the basic JEE architecture and the flow of documents on the World Wide Web. You will also implement JDBC for retrieving meta data with SQL query execution, and use servlets, JSP, and EJBs for the implementation of multi-tiered applications, which enhance client-server interaction and optimal resource utilization.
