Description:

In this course you examine how to maintain Active Directory. You move and defragment the Active Directory database and log files. You identify the components of the system state data, and then you back up Active Directory. You examine the primary, normal, and authoritative restore methods, and then restore Active Directory using these methods. Finally, you explore planning to monitor Active Directory. This course also helps prepare you for certification exam 70-294: Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure.

 

Objectives:

  • Describe maintaining Active Directory, move and defragment the Active Directory database, back up Active Directory, restore Active Directory, and plan for monitoring Active Directory.

  • Browser Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 (or higher)
  • Browser Mozilla Firefox 2 (or higher)

  • Operating System Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows 7

  • Processor Pentium III 1 GHz (or better)

  • RAM 512 MB (1 GB or more recommended)
