Oracle Database 10g: Managing Users, Security, and System Performance

Description:

Proper management of user accounts is a key part of securing your database. The DBA needs to be able to identify, restrict, and audit user activity to make sure that all user actions are appropriate and not threatening the security of your system. Oracle has several features that enable database administrators to manage the performance of their system. By monitoring how the system is operating, a database administrator will be ready to make any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance. In this course, you will manage users and security by working with user accounts, privileges, roles, passwords, resource limits, and the audit trail and use these tools to monitor the performance of databases.

• In this course, you will manage users and security by working with user accounts, privileges, roles, passwords, resource limits, the audit trail and you will use these tools to monitor the performance of databases.
