Optimizing, Reporting, and Maintaining the Microsoft® Windows®€“Based Hosting Solution (5242)
Description:
In this online learning course, you will use Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) to monitor, optimize, report, and maintain hosted services in the hosted-environment. Also you will see how MOM uses Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SRS) to produce reports based on the Windows-based Hosting deployment. This also helps you prepare for the certification exam 70-501.
Student Prerequisites:
- 3+ years of experience managing a Microsoft Windows-based network.
- An MCSE on Windows Server 2003 credential or equivalent knowledge.
- Knowledge equivalent to that taught in Course 2576.
- Familiarity with operational best practices such as those described in the Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- The ability and experience to troubleshoot the following:
- IIS
- Active Directory
- Security
- Network storage
- Infrastructure
