Understanding the 2007 Microsoft® Office Setup Architecture (5234)

In this 2-hour course, you learn how to install the 2007 Microsoft Office System. You learn how to customize the Microsoft Office System Setup as well as how to build and deploy a local installation source. In the lab, you will deploy and customize an Office installation.

This course helps you prepare for exam 70-624.

Student prerequisites:
  • Experience deploying, managing, and supporting either Windows® client systems or Office System technologies.
  • Familiarity with standard client and application deployment methods, such as RIS, imaging, and SMS.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory® directory service.
  • Familiarity with the 2007 Office System and Windows Vista™.
