Description:

In this course you will explore Win32 processes and threads, implement and use dynamic link libraries, use file system APIs, and develop distributed applications using inter-process communication APIs.

 

Objectives:

  • After completing this course you will be able to use security and encryption APIs, access databases using SQL with ODBC, measure and tune application performance, and understand online help development using WinHelp and HTMLHelp. You will also be able to implement GUI applications using the Win32 API and use other features of the Win32 programming environment, including Unicode, structured exception handling, and registry APIs, as well as build NT services, implement hooks, log events, and deploy Win32 applications.
