Windows 2000/Active Directory



In this course you will explore the components and typical designs of Active Directory deployments that you might encounter. You will step through Active Directory installation as it relates to the support of Unity and CallManager. You will also follow the process of replication, the set up of users and groups and identify appropriate management tools as they relate to both Unity and Call Manager. At the completion of this course you will be familiar with the Active Directory security features and processes for Disaster Recovery for Windows 2000 and Active Directory that will be important in future client support.


  • After completing this course, students will be able to discuss with clients the use of Windows 2000, Exchange, and SQL 2000 as they relate Cisco Voice products.
