Description:

In this course you will examine security standards, identify technologies and features to secure network infrastructure, identify the firewall strategies used to protect access, design strategies for authenticating and resource access, and plan a Windows 2000 security strategy.

Objectives:

  • After completing this course you will be able to identify both internal and external security risks, use Windows 2000 technologies to secure resources, design administrative control of resources, implement User and Group polices to tighten security, secure access to a private network from public network users, design strategies for authenticating partners on the network, permit partners to access resources on the network, allow secure access to the network for other clients, and plan and design a Windows 2000 security strategy.
