Agile Project Management Practitioner

Audience and learning outcomes

This course is aimed at those with some experience of working within a project environment (e.g. Team Leaders, Business Analysts, Change Managers, Project Support). A pass in the Foundation exam is a pre- requisite for the more advanced Practitioner course.

The course objectives are:

  • prepare candidates for the AgilePM Practitioner exam
  • show participants how to use AgilePM is used in practice.

This is achieved by taking the high level view from the AgilePM Foundation and ‘digging deeper’. In addition the following topics are covered in detail.

  • people, teams and interactions
  • requirements and user stories
  • estimating
  • planning through the lifecycle
  • quality
  • risk management
  • scrum
  • how to create and maintain self-organising teams.

There are numerous exercises using AgilePM against a case study and plenty of ‘Top tips’ for practical use.

Course materials – what you receive

  • templates for an Agile project
  • copies of all slides with additional notes
  • an exercise workbook
  • a sample Agile Project Management Practitioner exam
  • the actual Agile Project Management Practitioner exam.

Note that the course contains a number or practical exercises.
